The only technique used on this block was appliqué. The center shape was appliquéd in one piece. I am getting a little better at it, but I am still not satisfied with the quality of my work! I am hoping that when I am done with this quilt, my appliqué will be at least passable.

I fussy cut the fabric so that one of the geometric shapes ended up in the middle if the circle. The corner pie wedges were just appliquéd into the background.
