This is a (short) story of a small family – mainly because I don’t know the rest of it. They fled from Syria: Sara (mom, currently 7+ months pregnant), Malak (son) and Rakan (dad). They ended up in the refuge camp Traiskirchen (Austria), where because of overpopulation, they lived in a tent.
Because of the great generosity and hard work of a lot of Austrians, they are now in a small apartment.
The first thing out of their mouths: oy, is it warm in here!

Sara und Malak aus Syrien. Und Rakan, dem Papa von bald zwei Kindern. Raus aus dem Zelt in Traiskirchen und rein in die neue Wohnung in Korneuburg. Das erste, was sie gesagt haben, war: Oh, hier ist es warm. smile emoticon
