I was born in Greece, to a Greek father and an Austrian mother. I was educated in Greece and in Austria and came to the United States when I was 24.
I am a veteran of the United States Army, turned 50 in 2013 and now live in smalltown U.S.A in the Fayetteville/Hope Mills area of NC. I am married to BHE (Best Husband Ever) in an interracial, intercultural marriage that sometimes causes mass confusion and also a barrel of laughs! Β In addition, we are a May/December romance (do I need to mention I am May, he is December?) and have a large extended, blended family.
I am still finding my quilting style. I love old and new, traditional and modern, classic and innovative…..
I love to cook and bake, but by no stretch of anyone’s imagination am I a chef. I just like good food and simple “fresh” flavors. Living in the South I am definitely in the minority because I am not a big friend of fried anything.

When are you posting the countries for June and July? I’d like you use your countries along with those of Wanderlust. Thanks.

Hi Terry,
July is coming in the next day or two; Greece will be tacked on the end (we had a family emergency that set me back quite a bit). I had written a note to inform everyone and in my rattled mind, I forgot to post it!

Hi!
Actually, the only one that was not published is Greece – all the other ones were available in their respective months. This month’s will be a few days late thanks to Hurricane Matthew knocking out our power….as soon as the power comes back, so will the block!!

Hi Irene, you are right, sorry . Greece is missing and Australia also , the others I found in my Craftsy library . I only was irritated because normally the published months are underlined in your list , and the underlining ends in April .
Hope that – beside of the missing power – you do not have any destructions by Matthew .
Embrace you
Ulrike
