As if I do not have enough to do! I was recently offered the opportunity to participate in the 52 quilters project. A different quilter takes over the “52 Quilters” Social Media platforms for one week, each week of the year. I was asked to be that quilter this week (on VERY short notice, as in yesterday, after someone else dropped out).
Ich habe ja genug zu tun! Aber, mir wurde vor kurzem angeboten am “52 Quilters” Projekt teilzunehmen. Ein(e) andere(r) Quilter(in) übernimmt alle Medien Plattformen jede Woche. Ich bin ab heute dran (habe das erst gestern erfahren nachdem jemand ausgefallen ist).
One of the things one is asked to do, as an introduction of sorts, is to present a quilting piece. After giving it a bit of thought, I decided to show my #50 quilt…it is my original design, it is paper pieced, and it is the piece that has taken me by far the longest to complete!
Als erstes wird man ersucht, ein Quilt Projekt vorzustellen. Ich habe darüber ein wenig nachdenken müssen, habe mich aber dann für #50 entschieden ….das ist meine Quilt mit all den US Staaten. Ich habe die Muster entworfen, es ist Nähen-auf-Papier, und es ist die Quilt an der ich am längsten gearbeitet habe.
