Quiltathon

I am participating tried to participate in the “Patchwork Times” Quiltathon, scheduled to take place from January 5th through 8th.  Of course, the minute I dared even imagine three days of being able to accomplish some things sewing related, it seems everyone and everything in this universe decided to conspire to see who would be more successful in thwarting that plan….whether it was BHE scheduling a vet appointment,  the phone ringing off the hook (not a regular occurrence), a tenant acting up or the bank requesting a “short meeting” (also not a regular occurrence and turned out to be nothing) they all gave me a run for my money!

Ich versuche jetzt schon seit zwei Tagen an Judy’s (@ Patchwork Times) Quiltathon teilzunehmen. Natürlich, in dem Moment wo ich mir auch nur vorgestellt habe dass ich drei Tage lang in Ruhe arbeiten könnte, hatten wir eine “Krise” nach der anderen!  Auch schon am ersten Tag wollte der Beste-Mann-der-Welt unbedingt den Hund zum Tierarzt (mitten in einem Schneesturm) bringen, das Telefon hat ununterbrochen geläutet (passiert normaler weise nicht), eine Mieterin wollte was, und die Bank wollte ein “sehr kurzes” Meeting (war dann auch nichts wichtiges).
