Sometime in September, I wrote a post about a Quilt Along I was participating in (https://irenegrimes.wordpress.com/2014/09/12/art-quilt-quilt-along/).
The piece we are to complete is an art quilt, and will look like this:
When it is done, it will be quite a large piece (36″ x 52″) and will hang on the large empty wall above our TV – that is, when I finally get it done…..
This photo shows my progress so far:
I’m slightly over half way with constructing the pieces; after that I have to put the whole thing together, quilt and bind it….
To give credit where credit is due, this is a pattern by Janeen at Quilt Art Designs (http://www.bloglovin.com/frame?post=3790761503&group=0&frame_type=a&context=&context_ids=&blog=10356595&frame=1&click=0&user=0). As I’ve said (gushed) before, I really love her patterns and designs!
I’m considering entering this piece into a quilt show once it is done! (Whenever that may be….)

Love the way your grass is looking hilly. I am not quite so far along but don’t think mine will look that dimensional.

Thank you – Your compliment means a lot because I really have struggled with the fabric choices…
